Employment Opportunity - Repair Technician

We are looking to hire experienced computer and smartphone repair technicians for our stores located in Mississauga and Toronto.

We are Samsung Authorized Repair Service Centre. We have been in business for over 10 years with locations near the Rogers Centre and near Square One.

The techs must live within a 30-minute commute from the store near Square One.
Essential Skills:
1. Hands-on experience doing computer and/or phone repairs, hardware and software.
2. Strong hardware troubleshooting, diagnosis and testing skills
3. Soldering skills essential. Strong experience using a soldering iron, heat gun, and other professional tools like microscopes, ultrasonic bath, etc.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and repair at the component level.
5. Software troubleshooting skills on Windows and Mac OS.
6. Familiar with various software utilities for configuring, troubleshooting and malware removal
7. Ability to research the web for software and hardware solutions.
8. Knowledge of data recovery methods and software tools.
9. Knowledge of current computer tablet and smartphone software example Android, IOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, etc.
10. Macbook repairs at the component level essential.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Reasonable communication skills
2. Ability to use emails, create documents and spreadsheets.
3. Comfortable with Microsoft Office platform
4. Comfortable with using the web and web applications
5. Comfortable with networking and multimedia tools
6. Remote online computer repairs and troubleshooting using online tools like Citrix GoToAssist, TeamViewer, etc.
7. BGA Rework station experience a plus.
8. Familiar with game console (xBox and PS3) repairs.

Please include all other technical skills and relevant experience Depending on experience and skills, hourly rates will range from $14 to $18, plus standard benefits. We will provide training where necessary. Candidate must be able and ready to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, depending on our needs.
We repair all iPhone, Samsung, Blackberry, HTC and other phones within one hour, and laptops, Macbooks, PS3, xBox and other devices within one day. We are open for business 65+ hours over a 7-day work week.
