The iPhone antenna picks up the signal from the towers to your iPhone, if you start to experience fuzzy, weak or dropped connections, you need your iPhone antenna fixed. We can repair iPhone antenna while you wait.
The iPhone cellular antenna is actually the housing of the iphone which is connected to the mainboard via the charging port. If you are experiencing a low signal on calls or unable to connect to your carrier network (having diagnosed that the mainboard is not the culprit)the problemmay be solved by replacing the charging port - or we may even find that the problem is with the SIM reader.
When replacing parts does not provide a solution or resuscitate your device, the only explanation is a failure of the Main Board or the Logic Board.
When a device suffers damage, the obvious problem(s) appear to be a component, for example a screen or a charging port. These component failures are readily and immediately experienced by the user to be the proximate problem. Replacing the damaged or non-functional component would seem to be the obvious solution. Thus, a user comes to The TechKnow Space to have this problem remediated/repaired. Typically the doctor (our seasoned technicians) have no problem doing this.
Sometimes however, replacing/repairing components turns out to be an exercise in futility. Further diagnostics establishes the problem to be resident in the Main Logic Board. The replacement of these logic boards is prohibitive and best left alone. It’s time to move forward to a new device.
Bear in mind that these mainboard failures are a result of the initial damage to the device that prompted a visit to the repair shop even though it is not intuitively obvious.
Some iPhone 7 and 7 plus users have complained about the signal strength and dropped calls - which typically goes to the cellular antenna having been damaged or dislodged. A drop, bang, knock or dent (among other damages / occurrences) could cause this.
The TechKnow Space repairs and/or replaces iPhone 7 antenna in 1 hour.
I brought my iPhone 6 in for screen repair. The service was good and efficient, they repaired my phone within an hour and it's good as new as far as I can tell. I'm pretty happy with the end result, thanks!
IPHONE 6, 6S, 6 Plus, 6S Plus ANTENNA REPLACEMENT
It can be frustrating to have a phone with a damaged or malfunctioning antenna, because the antenna controls many of the functions that make cell phones such an important part of many people’s lives. Simple tasks such as making and receiving phone calls, sending text messages or using your cell phone service provider’s LTE network suddenly become annoying or impossible when your cell phone has a broken or damaged antenna cable.
The antenna cable in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is connected to the rest of the internal “guts” of the phone, which is called the logic board, and if the connection holding the antenna to the logic board becomes damaged or broken, you might experience issues with your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+ such as:
-calls where the person on the other side of the call complains you are cutting out,
-a “No Service” or “Emergency Service Only” message where the signal strength bars should be,
-only 1 or 2 signal strength bars filled instead of 4 or 5, or
-you are unable to connect to LTE or 3G networks.
If you notice any of these issues occurring with your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, the antenna needs repairing or replacing. The TechKnow Space has expertly trained technicians at stores in convenient locations in Mississauga and Toronto ready to help you with your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6+ antenna issues with one hour. We keep replacement antenna parts in store so we can be prepared to help fix your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus seven days a week, 52 weeks a year!
I had an screen changed. Very satisfied so far with the end quality of the work. The staff was very courteous and did a good job after an initial hick-up. They put on a black colored screen by mistake instead of a white one. It was already beyond their closing time but they themselves offered to change the screen again by staying open late and without any extra charge. I had to wait a little but left very satisfied with their service. Keep up the good work! Thanks
IPHONE 5, 5S, 5C ANTENNA REPLACEMENT
The antenna is a component that allows your iPhone 5, 5C and 5S to connect to your carrier’s cellular and LTE network. If you drop your phone or it comes into contact with liquid, the antenna can get damaged. The antenna cable can break or disconnect from the logic board, creating a problem with the signal.
If people you call complain that you are “cutting out”, or you find that you only have 1-2 bars beside the carrier’s name, or the dreadful “No Service” message – you should bring your iPhone to one of our locations in Toronto or Mississauga to get your cellular antenna replaced.
Our trained technicians can do the antenna replacement on your iPhone 5, 5C or 5S within an hour, while you enjoy a coffee and Netflix in our lounge!
iPhone 4, 4S Signal Antenna Replacement
The antenna is a component that allows your iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S to connect to the cellular network. If, instead of the normal 4-5 bars beside your carrier’s name, you see the dreadful “No Service” or just one bar, if everyone you try to talk to says that you are always cutting out – you probably need to get your iPhone 4, 4S antenna replaced.
Our trained technicians can do the antenna replacement on your iPhone 4 or 4S within an hour and you’ll be back to chatting with all your friends like before.
