The camera on the iPhone has developed such a reputation for excellence that it’s one of the device’s central selling points.
The iPhone 7 is the first Apple handset to have RAW shooting power. This format has a larger file size than your average JPEG because it stores a lot more data—specifically unprocessed/lightly processed light data—which means it’s easier to fix a bad photo after the fact. And when you convert a RAW file into a smaller JPEG (after processing it in Photoshop) it is still often of higher quality than the JPEG quickly pro
The iPhone 7's f/1.8 aperture lets in more light than the the f/2.2 lens on its predecessor. So when lighting conditions get difficult, you can use a faster shutter speed without totally juicing the sensor’s ISO sensitivity on the fly by a phone. The iPhone 7 also has improved image processing that should help reduce noise as well. In practice the iPhone 7 does a fantastic job in low light.
The iPhone 7 Plus gets even better as it has not one but two lenses. The first is the 23mm lens found in the iPhone 7. The second is a 56mm lens that lets you physically zoom in. A physical zoom is always preferable to the digital zoom found in the majority of smart phones.
Now if your phone is not capturing good quality images as it’s supposed to be or the camera app crashes upon launch you can drop in at any of our locations located in Mississauga/Toronto & our technicians will be happy to assist you.

I'll never take a broken iPhone anywhere else! The team at TechKnow Space Mississauga fixed my screen fast and I couldn't tell it had ever been broken. I would recommend their services to anyone!
Many cell phones now come equipped with a front-facing camera near the top of the screen, and can be very useful for video calls, self-portraits, or even as a makeshift mirror. Having a working front-facing camera on their iPhone 6 or 6+ is vital to many people’s day to day usage of their phone, and fixing or replacing a broken or damaged front camera can be a pain if you go to Apple to get it looked at. Make that repair process worry-free by bringing your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus in to the TechKnow Space, and within one hour you will have a repaired or replaced front camera.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus’s front camera has a few new features compared to other versions of the iPhone. The camera in the front of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ has almost all the same physical specifications as its predecessor, the iPhone 5S. But added to the same 1.2 megapixel sensor in the camera lens as the previous iPhone model, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus’s front camera has been slightly improved to a faster f/2.2 aperture in the lens. This upgrade will allow the front camera to perform better in low lighting – perfect for night-time selfies! Another new addition to the front camera on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is “burst mode,” which allows the front camera to fire off 10 photos in less than one second. This function is great for making sure everyone in a group selfie has their eyes open and a smile on their faces, because it lets you pick the best photo out of a bunch.
There have been reports from users and consumer blogs that the front facing camera on the iPhone 6 (so far there are no reports on whether this occurs in the iPhone 6 Plus as well) can become misaligned in its housing, revealing a small grey crescent on one side of the camera lens. Rather than risking damage to your iPhone 6 to fix this issue, bring it to one of our conveniently located TechKnow Space locations in Toronto or Mississauga and let us do the “heavy lifting” for you.
You should get the front facing camera on your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus repaired or replaced if you experience:
-blurry or unfocused photos and videos,
-“dead pixels” or black spots in your photos and videos,
-a cracked or shattered camera lens, or
-a blank or black screen when you open the camera app.
Camera problems can also happen if your iPhone 6 or 6+ has experienced physical damage like a drop, or liquid damage like water getting inside the phone. Secondary damage to the camera can happen after one of these occurrences, but don’t worry because the TechKnow Space is prepared to repair or replace your front facing camera within one hour.
A 1.2 Megapixel front camera on the iPhones 5, 5C and 5S is located just above the display of the phone, and is perfect for video calls or taking a quick selfie.
It can get damaged by some physical impact, drop or knock, or could fail over time on its own.
Whatever the problem may be with your front camera, you can always trust your iPhone Camera repair gurus at The TechKnow Space in Toronto and Mississauga, who will fix any problem you have in less than an hour.

Wow! Such a professional and courteous attitude from the receptionist to the Customer Service Staff. I was really impressed.
I had already tested the quality of their work by sending someone who needed a glass changed on his Ipad. They did the repair in a timely manner, and the person and his 9 year old daughter, were completely satisfied.
Today, I brought them another iPad and 2 Iphone 5S for the same. I was so surprised to learn, that all 3 will be ready by 5 pm, at a very reasonable cost.
