Samsung’s Galaxy A-series is the South Korean smartphone manufacturer’s mid-range line of phones. These phones are a compliment to the Galaxy S line of smartphones, but offer very different things to consumers.
The latest of the Galaxy A phones is the A8. Samsung has advertised this phone is their thinnest phone ever, which is an impressive feat for how many goodies this phone has.
The Galaxy A8 measures just over half a centimetre (5.9mm), but has a metal bezel on the left and right side that narrows down to almost nothing.
Samsung’s hope is for the A8 to compete with other similar mid to high range smartphones from LG or Apple.
The Galaxy A8 is impressively constructed, but that doesn’t mean you won’t run into issues. Common problems with the Galaxy A8, and all smartphones in general, include:
These problems can make using a great smartphone like the Galaxy A8 a frustrating, stressful or even impossible task.

I was very impressed by the service at TechKnow Space. The staff are very friendly and really give the impression that they enjoy what they do for a living, and that they genuinely care about repairing your device.
I picked up my Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 yesterday, after dropping it off for repair last week. Originally I was looking at $169 for a new screen. The function buttons at the bottom of the screen weren't working, and the screen needed to be replaced as they are integrated into the screen itself and not manufactured as separate parts. Upon further diagnostics they realized that there was simply a problem with the communication between the screen and the motherboard, and not the screen itself. And I was told the repair would now only cost $69! Fantastic!
I was so impressed by the fact that they not only found the actual cause of the problem, but that they also informed me of it even though it meant less money for them. They could have easily charged me for the new screen and I would have had no idea. I highly recommend this location, and I will definitely return in future should I ever need to
